Citynet Products Enable Streaming Delivery Of S&P Data Over Internet

LONDON--Citynet and Standard and Poor’s Comstock are working on a project to enable streaming delivery of S&P’s real-time market data over the Internet.

Standard & Poor’s will publish its real-time market data over Citynet’s Real Time Transaction Protocol. RTTP is an object-oriented, server-push protocol for the distribution of streaming market data over Internet networks. It supports client-server and peer-to-peer publish/subscribe models. The RTTP protocol sits on top of the Citynet Server
