SpryWare Boosts MIS Throughput

Version 3 of Chicago-based data and ticker plant provider SpryWare’s MIS (Market Information Server) ticker plant can now handle more than 10 million messages per second, according to the results of a recent capacity test conducted by the vendor.

Officials say V3 doubles the capacity over the previous version of MIS by using new chips from Intel, Solarflare network adapters and Red Hat Linux, and is a further 1.5 million mps increase over the previous benchmark test when V3 was released
