Wm Smith, Commerzbank Add Research to Markit Hub

UK-based data vendor Markit has added research from Denver, Colo.-based institutional research firm Wm Smith & Co and German banking group Commerzbank to Markit Hub, the vendor's research portal.

The Wm Smith content provides analysis on corporate events and companies with limited analyst coverage, covering a total of 140 companies, daily stock acquisition analysis and insider buying activity, while the Commerzbank research provides analysis of German companies and European market sectors heavily affected by German companies, as well as interest rate and portfolio strategy content and technical analysis for Western and emerging European markets.

The additions bring the total number of firms providing research through Markit Hub to 24.
