Panopticon Boosts Time-Series Visualizations
Swedish data visualization software provider Panopticon has released version 6.1.1 of its graphics package, adding a new scatter plot visualization for time-series data, time-series product calculations, and the ability to resample tick data sources by "zooming in" on specific periods of data within the display.
The new release also includes enhances Panopticon's Heat Matrix tiles -- which allow users to view correlations between two variables in a spreadsheet-style display that uses heatmap-like color-coding -- to support multiple display fields, and separately, adds support for Apache ActiveMQ message buses, as well as OneMarketData's OneTick and Kx Systems' kdb+ tick databases in Java environments.
