Low-latency managed data and trading technology provider Fixnetix has expanded its use of datacenter infrastructure management solutions from Folsom, Calif.-based Rackwise to improve its management of existing technology infrastructure assets deployed in internal datacenters and 33 hosting centers around the world, and to support more cost-effective expansion, by using the reporting and modeling features in Rackwise's DCiM X solution.

"Clear visibility into our existing IT asset inventories and our ability to track and model them is essential" to maximizing financial and operational efficiencies by extending the life of existing datacenters through optimizing IT investment," says Fixnetix chief executive Hugh Hughes.
