Low-latency fiber and wireless data network provider Perseus Telecom has hired Lorenz Voss as executive vice president of global procurement and strategy, to lead the vendor's global expansion and enhance its existing network routes.

Voss was most recently global strategic sourcing manager at Chicago-based trading software vendor Trading Technologies, where he managed more than 130 vendor relationships and led projects to ensure lower latency to execution vendors, prior to which he was outsourcing services manager at branding consultancy Schawk.

At Perseus, Voss reports to chief operating and strategy officer Andrew Kusminsky.
