Exchange Data Revenues Down On 2012, Total Revenues Increase

Market data revenues at the majority of exchanges have fallen from this time last year as low volumes continue to take their toll and projects to achieve operational efficiency take priority over growth initiatives. Meanwhile, total exchange revenues are up across the board in North America with only European venues failing to beat figures from 2012.

CBOE Holdings this week reported record quarterly revenues of $150.8 million, up 6 percent from last quarter, and 14 percent from Q2 last year
