EDI Adds African Central Bank Data to AFED Database
The new data includes data from the central banks of Egypt, Morocco and Malawi, the Central Bank of West African States and the Bank of Central African States, providing initial coverage of 20 African countries, though EDI plans to extend this to cover all African central banks over the coming months, before adding data from national statistics offices and ministries of finance, ultimately covering all 54 countries in Africa.
The AFED database contains macroeconomic data such as national
