Tullett Prebon's PVM Buy Will Boost Oil Data

The acquisition of PVM will allow TPI to offer a range of new datasets, including contracts for difference, EFPs (exchange futures for physicals), EFSs (exchange futures for swaps) and pricing for the Urals oil contracts. In addition, the deal will allow TPI to expand its product coverage into further areas, including US domestic crude oil contracts, according to a company statement.

The new datasets are targeted at commodity producers and consumers, traders and risk managers within large oil
