Perseus Cancels Infrastructure Work Amid Concerns over Brexit-, Russell-Related Volumes

Freezing everything but emergency maintenance will allow the vendor to ensure stability during a period of what it expects to be abnormally high trading volumes.

In a notice sent to clients on Wednesday, June 22, Perseus chief operating officer and chief strategy officer Andrew Kusminsky told clients that the vendor will not perform "any maintenances, change or installations of any kind in any of our network nodes globally," and will also freeze "access into any of our global datacenters for any physical and/or logical work."

During this period, Perseus will only perform maintenance required by "emergency" situations.

The vendor will also add more staff
