UPDATE: TMX Speeds Consolidated Feed, Adds Non-Protected Feed
The project reduces latency and footprint for a platform originally built by NYSE Technologies eight years ago.
Data products created by the TMX Information Processor include the Consolidated Data Feed, the Canadian Best Bid and Offer feed, the Canadian Best Bid and Offer for Protected only markets (CBBOP) feed, the Consolidated Last Sale feed, the Consolidated Depth of Book feed, and the Consolidated Depth of Book for Protected only markets.
The Information Processor was mandated by the Canadian Securities Administrators, and TMX won the deal to provide the service in 2007. TMX originally agreed a deal
