Tabb: Data to Drive Datacenter Spend


On average, the global financial industry spends a total of $1.8 billion per year on datacenter space, power and cooling, and that figure will grow, says Kevin McPartland, senior analyst at Tabb. Though the growth may depend on the economy, he expects new facilities being built by providers such as Switch and Data, NYSE Euronext and Equinix to fill up fast.
