EDINBURGH—Three years after the legal entity data division at Bank of Scotland Corporate implemented an ISO standard for business processes and data, audits show that the initiative has helped improve data quality.
The Edinburgh-based unit, called Cog, is compliant with ISO 9001:2000, which sets requirements for quality management systems. With all staff working around a pre-determined framework, the division now achieves monthly accuracy levels of close to 98% (Inside Reference Data, November 20
