SMPG Awaits Feedback on EIG Extension Proposal

NEW YORK - The Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG), which aims to enable consistent implementation of processes in the securities industry, is waiting for member feedback on the consolidated matrix aimed at extending the Event Interpretation Grid (EIG) to identify applicable dates, rates periods and prices for corporate actions events, Inside Reference Data has learned.

The proposal was completed at the SMPG's meeting in Moscow in May and will be out for review until September 2009.
