Data Management Maturity Reaches New Level

LONDON - The majority of firms have moved past the data anarchy stage and introduced a tactical approach to data management, or even defined the data management strategy, according to participants at the European Financial Information Summit (EFIS) in London.

The data management maturity model, a benchmarking model initiative led by industry association EDM Council, defines five levels of maturity to help firms measure and compare data practises.

The model measures firms based on 40 categories
