Users to Prioritize Better, More Comprehensive Data, Say Panelists

Hong Kong - While data consumers said cost optimization will supersede all data projects in the near future, firms are still looking to improve reference data rather than reduce the cost of reference data, according to participants at the Asia Pacific Financial Information Conference in Hong Kong in October.

In an audience vote, almost 80% of conference goers said that the key priority for reference data management strategies is better data as opposed to faster or cheaper data.

Panelists said
