Brazilian Markets Reconcile ISO, SPB Standards

While Brazil's markets may still be struggling with issues caused by proprietary standards for evaluated pricing, reforms and changes in the market-place are making the country's standards for messaging compatible with those used worldwide.

Anbima, an association representing 325 commercial banks, investment banks, asset management firms, brokerages, securities dealers and investment consultants in Brazil, has represented the country's markets in the ISO Technical Committee for Financial Service
