Swift Helps BAML Cut Cost of ISO 20022 Migration in Japan

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has reduced the cost of migrating to ISO 20022, by joining a scheme for early adopters that have chosen to use Swift to connect to Japan's central securities depository.

The messaging vendor's Early Adopter Programme for the Japan Securities Depository Centre is intended to help firms connect to the depository and send ISO 20022 messages via the SwiftNet interface. FCA declines to directly regulate market data prices
