UBS Finds Data Opportunity in Client Onboarding
Client onboarding teams are morphing into client data stewards at UBS, according to an operations executive of the firm, speaking at the European Financial Information Summit.
“We’re finding that our onboarding teams are doing more work,” said Simon Feddo, director of operations at UBS in London. “Traditionally, they were know-your-customer onboarding agents. Now they’re really becoming our client data stewards. So we’re seeing more demand for their services.”
