Consulting services and systems solutions provider Nomura Research Institute (NRI) has issued a data-management framework, developed with the US-based Enterprise Data Management Council (EDM Council), to address the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision's BCBS 239 risk data-aggregation rules.

NRI chose the EDM Council as a collaborator because its Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) was both developed and improved in collaboration with many financial institutions—and the EDM
