Inaugural IRD Event Showcases Today's Reference Data Issues

NEW YORK - Nearly 150 people attended the first annual Inside Reference Data conference in New York last month, where they heard discussions of issues such as data ownership and usage among financial firms, data-cleansing benchmarks and the oppressive issues surrounding international regulations.

The morning's keynote address (see page opposite) stressed that firms must have a full enterprise-wide view of who can use reference data and why.
