LEI Progress & What It Means For Data Management -- webcast
CLICK HERE to listen to the archived webcast
Efforts to implement the global legal entity identifier (LEI) saw more progress in recent months, with principles for pre-local operating units (pre-LOUs) being issued in July by the Regulatory Oversight Committee administering the global LEI, and a clean-up of the roles of CFTC Interim Compliant Identifiers (CICIs) having begun. Pre-LEIs have also sprung up in France, Germany and the UK. Our webcast will explore what these developments mean for managing new identifier data, and address these questions:
-- What are the fundamental principles of data management for the LEI?
-- How are such principles being applied, or how should they be applied?
-- What is necessary to onboard clients onto these new identifiers?
-- What is necessary to coordinate LEIs with other pre-existing identifiers?
-- What progress are the new pre-LEIs or pre-LOUs making? Will more markets create pre-LEIs or LOUs?
