PaineWebber Rollout Hits Halfway Mark: Still Talking Price With Quotron

PaineWebber Inc., Quotron's largest remaining customer, has upgraded half of its 8,000 retail quote users from Quotron's Q1000 to Microsoft Corp. Windows-based market data service. But even as the rollout steams ahead, PaineWebber is still negotiating pricing for its market data services from Quotron.
PaineWebber's new broker workstations combine market data services from Quotron -- with network services now provided separately by AT&T and hardware by IBM.
