Gravitas unveils cloud service designed for alternative funds industry

Gravitas Technology has released the Gravitas Cloud Computing Service, which the New York-based vendor claims to be the first suite of cloud services designed exclusively for alternative asset management firms. Gravitas's cloud computing service provides virtual server hosting at offsite co-location facilities and hosted applications including e-mail, mail compliance, remote data backup and VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services on a per user, per month basis.
