EEX's COO Discusses TT Partnership & What's Ahead

Through the first half of 2014, EEX's sales revenues have grown 16 percent over 2013 to €33.7 million ($43.7 million). As of June 30, 2014, it had grown its stable of trading participants to 291, almost 70 more than by the end of June 2013.

In order to continue that growth, yesterday it was announced that the energy exchange would implement Trading Technologies' software-as-a-service (SaaS) trading platform.
