Microsoft SQL Server to Gain Native CEP
The new feature, dubbed StreamInsight, will be added to the new and existing tools that are bundled with a SQL Server license, explains Torsten Grabs, a senior lead program manager at Microsoft. "If you think of SQL Server as a Swiss Army knife with a number of blades representing the SQL engine all the way to analysis, integration and reporting services, StreamInsight is another blade," he says.
