The launch date is predicated on establishment of clearinghouse linkages between the European Multilateral Clearing Facility (EMCF) and LCH.Clearnet by the end of January, says Hans Ole Jochumsen, the executive president, transaction services, Nordics, at Nasdaq OMX. "Any delay on the regulatory side could change that-all plans are dependent on regulatory approval. The reality is that at this stage even regulators have been unclear in what they want. It is a learning process for them."
