Hemsley to Lead Bats Chi-X Europe
Bats Global Markets has named Mark Hemsley CEO of Bats Chi-X, pending regulatory approval, which is expected in the summer. Following a brief a transition period, Alasdair Haynes, current CEO of Chi-X Europe, will step down. Bats declines to provide further details about Haynes' departure.
Hemsley joined Bats Europe in 2008 as CEO and is also a senior vice president of Bats Global Markets. He will continue to report to Joe Ratterman, president and CEO of Bats Global Markets.
