In a late afternoon announcement, the brokerage said Anthony Abenante is stepping down.
Anthony Abenante is leaving his post as co-CEO of agency-only brokerage Instinet, the company announced in a statement late Thursday. He had been appointed co-head of the Nomura-owned firm five years ago.
Co-CEO Fumiki Kondo will assume sole leadership of the firm.
The company declined to comment further.
