App delivers information on intra-day and closing bids and offers, as well as transacted prices of contracts.
Singapore-based over-the-counter (OTC) commodities trading venue Cleartrade Exchange has launched a mobile app to enable traders to monitor commodity and derivatives contracts from their smartphones.
The app, developed with content management provider OpenText Corp., includes information on intra-day and closing bids and offers, as well as transacted prices of contracts.
"In today's globalized economy, the city never sleeps," says Richard Baker, CEO of Cleartrade Exchange. "Intermediary brokers will phone or message traders at any hour of the day or night to demand the latest information on prices and movements. We wanted to make market-critical data easily available to traders at all times, irrespective of whether they are near their computer terminal or, if not, through a secure mobile app."
