Otkritie Installs Dubovets in Derivatives Team

Russian broker Otkritie Capital has announced that Pavel Dubovets will take up the post of sales director in its derivatives unit.

Dubovets will be based in Moscow and report directly to the company CEO, Igor Vayn, with responbility for both the equity and the derivatives sales teams. Previously, he worked for Troika Dialog in an equity sales role, and spent six years as a portfolio manager for a non-government pension fund in the energy industry.

His early career was energy-focused, having worked at Russian oil and gas firm Surgutneftegaz after graduating from Gubkin Academy with a degree in mining engineering.
