Another Tech Glitch Halts Trading on the TSE

For the second time in six months, the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) had to halt trading due to a technology glitch. At 9:22 a.m. local time, the exchange suspended trading of derivatives for 90 minutes. The TSE is investigating the cause of the failure.

This comes on the heels of an outage that happened on Feb. 2, when trading was halted on the TSE for 3.5 hours due to a glitch in its information distribution system.
