William Brodsky, chairman and CEO of CBOE Holdings, will step down as CEO following the Annual Meeting in May 2013 to assume the role of executive chairman of the board. Brodsky, who has served since 1997, took the company public in 2010.
The board of directors has unanimously elected Edward Tilly, CBOE president and COO, as CEO, also effective following the 2013 Annual Meeting. Edward Provost, the Chief Business Development Officer, will succeed Tilly as CBOE president and COO.
"Ed and I have worked closely together for many years," Brodsky says. "His leadership and counsel have helped drive major initiatives at CBOE, including the transformation of CBOE from a membership organization to a highly successful publicly traded company."
