Korek Lands CEO Role at Kinetic Partners

London-based financial services advisory firm Kinetic Partners has installed Julian Korek as its new CEO to lead the firm’s expanded management team.

Korek will be supported by two ex-regulators, Andrew Shrimpton and Monique Melis, while Geoff Varga and Nick Matthews will lead the firm's corporate recovery and restructuring, and forensic practices, respectively.
Finally, David Butler, one of Kinetic Partners' founding members, will leave the firm in the near future to pursue other opportunities; Raymond O'Neill will work on delivering key strategic projects for the firm.

Kinetic Partners has made the following appointments over the last few months:

• Kim Frisinger, leader of the firm's forensic team in Hong Kong
• Caroline Gibbs, director in the compliance team in London
• Deb Weston, member in charge of the firm's global audit team
• Gary James, leader of the China tax team in Hong Kong

Kinetic Partners has growth rapidly in the eight years since its founding, building from a single office in London to a global team with offices in New York, Hong Kong, the Cayman Islands, Geneva, Dublin, Luxembourg, and the Channel Islands.
