Paris-based Euronext is to implement its UTP-Hybrid solution in four exchanges in the MENA region.

The Amman Stock Exchange, the Beirut Stock Exchange, the Bourse des valeurs mobilieres de Tunis, and the Muscat Securities Market, have agreed to replace their current NSC trading platform for the cross-asset, cross-currency trading platform, UTP-Hybrid. The four exchanges will benefit from Euronext's low risk, high-performance solution with a ten-year support commitment.

"This is an important development for Euronext and demonstrates our commitment to a strategic relationship with these four exchanges," says Dominique Cerutti, CEO of Euronext. "Using technology to bring MENA markets closer together helps promote the region and generates growth in its local economies. We look forward to working with our clients on business and technology initiatives that will build closer ties with European investors and help develop markets in the MENA region."
