Euronext UK Markets Gains RIE Status
Euronext UK Markets will operate the Universal Trading Platform to power its functionality, and provide full exchange services in the UK, including listings. The use of UTP adds liquidity from the venue to other European destinations, making it one of the larger cross-border operations on the continent.
"With over €6 billion of equity securities traded daily on our markets, Euronext London is a logical entry point for international issuers wanting to access the deep liquidity found within our market," says Dominique Cerutti, CEO at Euronext. "Today's announcement strengthens the competitive position of Euronext's European markets and underscores our position as a leading capital-raising centre."
