Barclays Plans Texas Tech Center

Dallas city centre
McKinney is in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolex.

The center will initially comprise 40,000 square feet of office space in the town, which is just over 30 miles north of Dallas, with an estimated population of around 150,000. The center will provide technology support for the business, along with development for new projects and requirements.

"McKinney presented Barclays a competitive opportunity with a high-profile location along the Sam Rayburn Tollway, a highly educated and abundant labor pool, and sufficient parking for their employees," says Ernest Lynch III, chairman of the board at the McKinney Economic Development Corporation. "Our economic development team was able to move quickly to address Barclays' needs."
