Asia-Europe-North America full-service exchange firms are definitely coming.

As regular readers of this column (hi, Mum), will know, I like to start them with rambling anecdotes that tangentially relate to capital markets trends. Not being one for breaking tradition, the aesthetic of autumn in Islip, Ronkonkoma and Lawrence got me thinking about the cyclical nature of mergers and acquisitions in the exchange space.

Alright, that didn't even sound plausible to me. I just wanted a way to sneak in how lovely New York is at this time of the year. What really got me thinking
