I've spent the last several weeks recounting the history of financial IT for our first ever Waters Hall of Fame (forgive my omissions, I know there are many). And I must say, all that talking (and writing) about the key technology initiatives that shaped our world has been pretty inspiring.

In fact, it's made me more eager than ever to get on with IT. Bring on the innovation. Roll out the new model. Build the better mousetrap. Technology will continue to revolutionize the way financial services
