That's right. On July 21, Risk Publications agreed to buy Waters Information Services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. (Even to me!) What I do know, however, is that it means more Waters (both the magazine and the company).

Risk plans to take Waters monthly next year--a defining moment for me and this magazine and a yardstick of just how fast and to what degree information technology is transforming the financial industry.

More importantly, it means more coverage of all things financial IT
