Lynch, Jones & Ryan Hires FTC To Launch Routing System

Soft-dollar broker Lynch, Jones & Ryan will market Financial Technology Corp.'s order-routing system to its customers under an accord struck this month. LJR is also in talks with dominant over-the-counter market-maker Herzog, Heine, Geduld, Inc. about joining the venture.

FTC will provide LJR customers with an order-routing link to the New York Stock Exchange's SuperDot and to similar systems operated by regional U.S. exchanges. The system could soon be tested at a Boston-based money manager and
