Automation, compliance top buy-side IT issues in ICAA survey

WASHINGTON, DC – Automation and compliance issues dominate US asset managers' technology concerns regardless of size, according to findings of a new survey conducted by the Investment Counsel Association of America (ICAA) and Cutter Associates.

The survey, Technology Survey October 2004, interviewed 100 firms ranging in size from $500 million to $25 million in assets along four primary areas: IT and operations spending, top technology issues, top operational issues, and trading and best execution
