The first key component to roll off the Dow Jones Markets quick-strike team conveyor belt--a browser-based desktop--is being installed at customer beta test sites early next month. The desktop, not yet in beta, represents the vendor's efforts to begin to rebuild its credibility--quickly--and its strategy of involving customers in product development. It also represents the first in a series of products that Dow Jones Markets will be pushing to buy-side firms, a marketplace that it wants to
