Sell side will increase use of RIXML, says TowerGroup

NEEDHAM, MA -- All the major sell-side firms will be producing RIXML-compliant research by the end of 2003, thereby helping to solve the issue of information overload for the buy side, according to a report released last month by research and consulting firm TowerGroup.

The buy side is flooded with more than 100,000 analyst research reports each week, says Jean-Paul Carbonnier, author of the TowerGroup's report, Research Production and Distribution: The Promise of RIXML.
