Chase Builds Custom Front-End For Its Investment Managers

NEW YORK--Chase Manhattan's Global Asset Management and Mutual Fund division is mid-way through the rollout of a proprietary front-end portfolio decision support and analytical tool that is ultimately planned for use by 150 portfolio managers in New York, London, Tokyo, Geneva, Hong Kong, Miami and Houston. The modeling tool is an extension to the back-end accounting system Chase installed last year, Global Investment Manager II from Integrated Decision Systems of Los Angeles.
