ITG Launches Algo Suite Supporting Futures Trading

Investment Technology Group ITG, the agency research broker and financial technology firm, has released a suite of algorithms specifically developed for futures trading.

The ITG futures algorithms are available via the firm's ITG Triton execution management system (EMS), the ITG Matrix front-end and application program interface (API) for derivatives trading, and also via FIX connection to ITG from third-party trading platforms.

The new algorithms are an enhancement to ITG's existing derivatives trading capabilities, which offer functionality across a variety of trading applications, high-touch derivatives trading and strategy, as well as low-latency APIs for black-box direct market access (DMA) strategies.

The firm's head of liquidity management, Jamie Selway, says the launch of futures algorithms illustrates the firm's commitment to supporting multi-asset trading strategies.

ITG intends to expand the derivatives suite to cover a broad range of products as it works to enhance the scale and scope of its independent trading platform, according to Selway.
