Omgeo has appointed Ted Leveroni as executive director of derivatives strategy and external relations. Leveroni, who joins the Boston-based vendor from State Street, will help to develop strategies to expand Omgeo's derivatives presence, while helping clients to navigate the changing regulatory landscape. He will report to Clare Fraser, who is Omgeo's managing director of strategy.
At State Street Leveroni was responsible for overseeing the execution for the firm's global collateral services. He also served a stint as the head of North American business development for State Street's investment manager services business and managed the equity/listed options trading desk for BankBoston.
"It is never an easy decision to leave a great company after 10 fun and successful years," Leveroni tells BST. "However, when Omgeo presented me with this role, I saw it as a great opportunity to make an immediate, impactful contribution to an already successful and trusted company. This role will allow me to leverage my derivatives expertise in order to help to drive the direction and success of Omgeo in an area that is of increasing importance to our community and regulators alike."
