Capita, a FTSE 100 company providing outsourcing services, has adopted Calastone's daily reconciliation service for its asset management transactions.

The reconciliation service will enable Capita's clients to reconcile their positions on a daily, rather than monthly, basis, according to Chris Addenbrooke, chief executive officer at Capita.

Addenbrooke says Capita will also offer a daily group 1-2 split of holdings.

"We believe this will help us provide an improved service for our clients and therefore fulfill the needs of ever ongoing changes in both domestic and European regulation," he says.
