Study Shows Asset Managers Still Struggling with Accounting, Exposure

A new white paper released by software services provider SimCorp and authored by Woodbine Associates found that more than half of buy-side firms polled were not confident in the accuracy of their present accounting systems and nearly a third said that they cannot calculate exposure in real-time.

"We sort of suspected that these were issues, but we didn't expect that magnitude," David Kubersky, managing director of SimCorp in North America, tells BST.
