The New York-based vendor says that institutional investors will be able to connect to multiple venues through a single, customizable interface or API, while managing multiple orders at the same time. The platform also provides for straight-through, post-trade processing.

"With dealer corporate bond inventories down by almost 80% since 2007, institutional investors are actively seeking new sources of liquidity. This combined with the recent proliferation of new electronic trading venues has created a very fragmented market," says Michael Chuang, founder and CEO of iTB.

"Leading buy-side firms recognize the need for a technology solution for centralized access to these fragmented liquidity pools so they can get the best execution they need to remain competitive," he continues. "iTBconnect answers this need by providing a centralized platform tailored to the specific requirements of each firm."
